I hope you mean just for idle.
At .5 sec updates, the motor could be history before the ecm even sees a
problem.  WOT tuning is just an average thing using O2 sensors, I'd rather
be in charge and reading plugs, myself.  .1 is much better, but I'd be awful
careful.
these filtering rates sound more for human veiwing then for ecm usage, again
IMO
