salud,
i have been following the list for a month or so now. i think i have =
enough background now to ask some intelligent questions. i have 2 =
project cars which i want to convert to efi. the first is an 82 amc =
eagle with a 350 sbc. this one will be tbi using the throttle body and =
harness from a 89 gmc jimmy 4.3l v6 and a ''7747 ecu. i have been =
through the archives and this conversion seems straight ahead (on =
paper). this engine has stock heads, an edlebrock performer manifold (i =
plan to make my own adapter for the tbi to the mani), pistons are 9:1 =
cr, cam is mild (right now) with .368/.398 lift and 250/260 duration, =
hei ignition with an msd 6al box, and headers. th350 tranny and ford 8.8 =
rear end. probably will need some help when i get to the tuning stage.

the other project is more creative. i have a 63 jaguar mkII with a 3.4l =
dohc straight 6. it has 2 su single barrel carbs which feed into a =
single intake mani. i was going to put on 3 45 dcoe webers, but now what =
i want to do is go sfi. what i am thinking of doing is drilling holes in =
the mani and putting in injectors and using the carbs as throttle =
bodies. i was thinking the ecu and harness from an older pontiac 3.8l v6 =
with distributor would work. comments and suggestions, please.

'old school' internet is alive and well here: exchange of information =
without crass commercialism...i love it.
