I have my stock powdered metal rods up to around 525rwhp, spinning to
6200 RPM.  Most of these rods can take up to around 6200-6300 RPM
without a problem.  The forces exerted on the rod (inertia) go up
exponentially with RPM.  Of course, it only takes one bad one to ruin
your day...
