SpeedPro comments

Some signals you cut away from the stock PCM entirely (coolant and air temp,
for example. a resistor gets placed in the factory computer harness so that
it sees something) and are handled by the speedpro... others are more
complicated. my factory PCM really only needs to know a couple of things
about the motor running -

a) that it is running (it keeps getting an optispark ref so it runs the fuel
pump, etc.)

b) what the TPS is so it knows when to kick out the a/c clutch under full
throttle, downshift an auto, and to shut off the egr, a.i.r., etc.

c) MAP sensor value so it can make other shift decisions for the auto tranny
based on load... For the TPS/MAP the stock computer stays hooked up like
before and the speedpro just taps into the signal line. this way only the
stock PCM is powering the sensor, but both computers are reading it's
value...
