How important is this? I have never heard of making sure the ECM
itself is grounded in this way. I installed a 94 model TBI350/4L60E
into my 1986 Land Cruiser. The PCM is mounted under the front seat
just like it was in the donor van. I have it in a painted bracket.
Should I sand it as well to improve the grounding?
