Bosch O2 / Sensor ,any good ?

I picked up a couple Bosch 02 sensors at a swap yesterday. Can I use this with a good
volt meter for a relative rich/lean indicator ?  I just want to experiment with them on
my old Camaro. (carb) My question is, are these any good and what should they cost ?
its a 4 wire unit.

It says this on it:   Bosch 08429A0           982
                           0258 005 791/792   12v
                           Ford F8TF-9G444-CA OD29
