Thanks Jörgen that's great info !! Where is the water being injected ?
It looks like US pricing is 450.00 for a system 1s and 850.00 for a system
2s
Thanks,
Raymond

Subject: RE: Water Injection
A friend of mine uses an ERL Aquamist system on a GMC Syclone, a few weeks
back when we were tuning the new stroker engine we had detonation problems
even at low boost levels.
We were a bit worried that the JE pistons had a less then optimal chamber
design then the old TRW 2442 pistons, this and the slightly higher 8.5:1CR
instead of 8.1:1 probably caused some problems. But it was of corse the
water injection that wasn't working, after replacing a broken wire we could
raise the boost from 12psi to 23-24psi without detonation. Since this is a
street car we always tune it on regular unleaded.
I guess that the new engine outputs around 700hp. Consistent 10.90-11.20 on
street tires, street asphalt and street fuel. A 3600lbs truck!
By the way, how much is an Aquamist system in the US?
