Stroker surge - DIY_EFI Digest V5 #919

Common cause of idle "surge" is mis-adjusted base idle throttle opening - The
IAC cycles trying to compensate for it, and gets thoroughly confused. Was common
on Toyota Nippondenso (L-Jetronic style) systems when DIY guys did their own
adjustments without knowing what they were doing. Major mods could easily
trigger this problem.
