WBO2 testing

I added two 15 ohm resistors in parallel with the 1 ohm resistor on my
unit.  The current went from 1.2 to 1.4A and the warm-up time dropped from
4 minutes to 45 seconds.  Perfect.

Sounds like you need some of the 15 ohm resistors across R4.
The current should be ~1.4A max. And yes the VR does run
hot and needs a bit of heat sink.
