In the UK (I think Europe may be the same) the Ford part number system is
based on a 7-digit number known as a 'finis code' (sorry, don't know why!).
This is the primary reference for parts ordering. The XXXX-YYYYY-ZZ  format
number is also shown on parts and can be used to trace back to finis codes,
but this process is not always reliable in my experience. Walking into the
parts shop with a 7-digit finis is the best way to be sure you get what you
want here.
