I very much agree!

C'mon folks, it's getting out of hand. 50Kbytes of
message containing just 1Kbyte of info is not
acceptable. 

Please be a good netizen, and trim your responses.

I'm really interested in reading what you have to say,
but wading through all the persiflage means that some
good content will get thrown out.

Include just enough content from the previous post to
establish continuity of the thread. There are no
rules, just use common sense.
