If I remember it correctly the Haltech has a 3ms dwell time and it should be
cabable of running with a dumb ignitor. At least everyone I know runs them
with dumb ignitors without problems.
The M&W ignitors should be used with a coil with low primary resistance,
somewhere between 0.4 and 0.8ohm. This could cause problems with a stock
coil. Coils with more then 1ohm primary resistance must not be used. The
primary impendance of the coil should be between 2.5 and 3.5mH.
