I'm a satisfied Eagle user, having used it since 1993.  Done all the way from
single side boards to 10 layer boards with 0.008" lines and 0.008" spaces all
autorouted.  Tech support is great too.  They have a US office in Florida.  Also
have there own news group server news.cadsoft.de   and subscribe to
eagle.support.eng

I see by your email that you are with BAE, but don't know if you're in GB, US or
Australia, so... in addition to the german web site, eagle maintains a US
