The Motorola MC3334P can be found in the old Linear and Interface ICs Data
Books.  This chip is the same one that is found inside the GM 4-Pin Ignition
Modules.  They were very popular in the mid 70's to 80's GM car and truck
line.  You might want to consider using the whole module because it has the
coil driver, current limiting, and magnetic pickup signal conditioning all
in one "Unique" package.
