Check out: http://members.tripod.com/lyc_42/darkside/antic.htm I don't know
if the authors have completed a working system, but it seems feasable. Don't
know about the efficiency. But it would help to have a small auxilary air
valve with a servo or stepper to be controlled by an ecm. In this fashion
you could still run it without an ecm (without), but in normal use you could
run in closed loop mode (w/ 02 sensor) and correct mixture by varying the
air. You could even do highway lean cruise mode. The controller wouldn't
need to be anything special, you could probably use any number of commercial
boards which are available in the $150 range (look on Ebay, I remember a
company selling alot of Intel controllers for ~$40). If you end up trying
this, please keep me updated on how it goes!
