I don't think you'll have any luck getting this chip......these guys and Silicon
Systems both developed engine controllers for Chrysler, and they won.  So, OEM
only and the SSI 687 is no longer being produced. On the other hand, how
complicated is you cam/crank pickup scheme?  Check out this paper written by
Intel (for the 8051) for missing tooth schemes.  SAE 891646.
