Are you sure that there's not any N20 involved here? The little globules
are aluminum from the tops of the pistons seen mostly on nitrous motors.

Thanks Lyndon, luckily they are not mine, but those are bone stock from
the factory. Scary for less than 10,000 miles ! Maybe the color is from
the oxygenated fuel we have here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It's
always been 93 octane though.

You've got the silver balls of pre-death LEAN--and another bad thing
about
running plats is that they tend to ignite just a little easier than they
should. The
"pink" glaze has me going--you running purple fuel 87
or something ?? You're running a very hot mixture, the
balls are imbedded in the metal. Just my thoughts...
