Learning assembly

You might try Randal Hydes' online version of his
college course on assembly language:
http://webster.cs.ucr.edu/Page_AoA/0_AoAHLA.html
Go through volumes 1 and 2 (thirteen chapters in PDF
format), then switch to your specific Motorola manual. 
If Mr Hydes couldn't get published, then maybe the
mass market just isn't there. Although, I would much
rather code in assembly than that goofy mess they
call Visual Basic, and there's plenty of titles on that.
