Thermal coatings

HF?  Yikes.. if anyone wants to use that stuff, go
ahead.  Just make damn sure that you don't get in on
your skin or the vapors in your lungs.  You should
only use it in a fume hood. It won't hurt a bit but if
you get enough, which isn't much, it will leech the
calcium out of your bones and kill you.  Very very
scary stuff.  We used it in a lab at Motorola.  I
think that of all the chemicals that we used,
including things like 96% fuming sulfuric, 99% H2O2,
etc, the HF got the most respect.
