Sportsman 2 heads

Hi All,

My Sportsman 2 heads finally arrived, got a reasonable deal as well I
think ($760 for the pair and free delivery).  Since this is going on a
TPI setup is it worthwhile cleaning up the ports and chambers to a
slightly smoother surface than the cast looking finish ?

My understanding is that since it is a dry system (fuel not entering air
stream until valve area) then ports should be smooth and for minimum
detonation try and remove all sharp edges and rough surfaces in the
chambers.  Do you also smoothe the edge of the deck surface to the
chambers ?
