What went wrong with the Aussie WB Buy?

In fact, I did a version of artwork for the board. Ironically, I don't have
a need for such a device because I can read plugs. But I did the work,
gratis, just to help. There was no mention of any restrictions at that
time.

I don't know what artwork was used, but I posted ALL the work to the web.
This included models of the devices. All that work is hidden on the new
board.

>If you cannot follow the laws of the road, you do not get a driver's
license.
These days, as long as you don't speed and you don't hit a police car
you would be incorrect.
>If you cannot adhere to the terms of a contract, you cannot keep a job.
    Very few jobs require contracts.
>If you cannot stick to the terms of a mortgage, you cannot have a home.
    You can rent.
Your illogic is commendable for its consistency.

>Why is it any different with the terms of the DIY-WB?

Because, if there are one or two restrictions, there will be another
proposed and then another and then you have a situation just like taxes.
The dumbest restriction I've heard is "You have to solder your own board."

As an attempted contributor I didn't ask for ANY type of compensation -
including ownership. If I had wanted money, you wouldn't have been able to
afford it, because a new commercial item would cost less.

I agree, but who is playing the part of the overstating Enquirer?

With this single statement I agree. No sucessful retailer would be
interested in developing a product for this list. I read that as:

If one is offering help to the members of this list it is not in order to
take their money.

If there were a lawyer involved it would ask "What is the total extent of
the damage?" Generally speaking, that is all that can be recovered. So,
what's the damage?
