Modifying/fabricating manifold for injectors?

Machining round bar seems to be the most common approach. I was hoping to
keep it garage tech, as I am ok on rough metal work (bandsaw's, Mig welding,
etc) but don't have a mill.

The injector cup idea would allow me to use low tech, so I'm going to pursue
that.

One note: it did look like on the mechanical injectors that the "o-ring" was
more of a flat rubber washer. I could probably clamp them down with no
problems. Then all I would need is a reasonable tolerance hole for the
nozzle body.
