No that's the way life is.  Tuning is not dropping a few parts in an engine
and hitting the key.  It's testing to see what works in your combination.

You can't write rules in stone about what will work in all engines, they
vary.

If you have no other tools, then your not even tuning.
You first and formost need a way to measure performance.
You need a basic understanding of reading plugs.

Then you can move up to data logging, WB Os, EGTs, and other AIDS.  Tuning
takes time.  Lots of folks just seem to think it's a 1-2-3 and your done
thing, ain't that way.

WBs, and your other tuning aids just get your tune up right, faster.  That
also means less wear and tear to get things right, Once your clear on what
your doing.
