I don't see that 7K is that much for what you get.  $7K for something that
runs low 11's high 10's in the quarter, & 160 mph on the free way, is not
that bad, IMO.  try to find a production car that will do that, cant.
$/performance, bikes rule.  $/lb, they suck.  $/safety factor, they suck.
Seems to me that it comes down to expectations.

Couple weeks ago I was just tracking down coolants to see if any of the
monster bikes used anything really trick.  made the rounds of Suzi, Kawa,
Hond, Yama, and all the big stuff *started* at $7K.
