I suppose the dynamic range would be an issue,
ie. If no (minimal) PWM of injectors then you could reach a point at low
load theat the pressure is just too low so fuel wouldn't spray just
dribble. But I suppose the minimum PWM for injectors would be set
appropriately for span over load range etc etc
Also what about all the rubber hose interconnects, wouldn't that affect
time for pump up/down - need a modulated pressure regulator as well
as pump control - could be an interesting way to improve flow where
the factory injectors are maxed out when modding an engine etc,
