Trust me, I was expecting to count 40 so recounted a number of times :)
In addition I checked them against a 40 pin ic socket, so there's little
doubt.
I'll pull out the AE86 ECU to compare. There's an Aus AE82 ECU that I can
take a look at, so will check that too. Hopefully they'll have 40 pin ics.

That'd be Matti's site.
Just took a quick look - I haven't seen a hot wire air flow meter used in
any toyotas.. does anyone know of models?
