all jeep's except the cherokee, which got a tbi setup around 87 in the =
4.0l, had carburators until 1992, when the new 4.0l mpi was introduced, =
very nice engine, wish i had one.  in 1987 jeep also introduced the =
computer controlled carter carb as a stopgap for emissions while they =
developed the new 4.0l.

  1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was the last light duty truck to use a carb. =
(according to this issue of Petersen's 4-Wheel. Great section on =
aftermarket EFI systems. I think it is the Sept. issue.=20
