[Diy_efi] Interesting Ford patent

Hello,

I came across 2 patent numbers referenced on a Ford EEC-IV computer case sticker.
They have to do with ignition timing and periodically advancing each cylinder's
timing in order to effect a self cleaning mechanism.  The patent goes into detail
about the circuit and theory of operation of the ignition system.  The patent is
now expired to boot.  The patent number is 4116173 and it can be found here:
