But it only has 3 timers, which would mean that you need a hunk of =
support circuitry to do sequential. DIS would be a challenge as well.=20

Also there is not enough memory for a 16*16 fuel and spark table unless =
you set spark as a nibble.

Like I say, a bit of requirements gathering helps a lot.

16f877 runs at 5Mhz, which gives 0.2 microseconds per "step", no problem
with resolution there. Memory and timers also are not a problem, but the
lack of maths functions are a bit of a pain. Hence interpolation and 16 =
bit
calculations are not easy!
