I think what they're referring to is not oxidation of the fuel, but =
oxidation of the fuel line...

there again, if their fuel line could oxidize, so could (and does) any =
other rubber line.=20

Gas oxidizing has a simpler more graphical name

it's called combustion.

Sounds like another spark in an aircraft fuel tank story.
