All 1985-89 EFI F-series pickups, all 1985-89 EFI full size Broncos, and
all 1986-91 E-series vans. The configuration is a low pressure fuel
pump in the unbaffled tank. This pumps to the frame mounted reservoir.
Then a high pressure frame mounted fuel pump pulls from the reservoir
and feeds the engine. In a dual tank truck, the reservoir also doubles
as a tank selector valve. The tank select switch controls which in tank
pump runs, and the reservoir/valve routes the returned fuel to the same
tank it came from. There was a problem with the latter function and the
AC/Delco made reservoir/valve was replaced with a newer part number
(that starts with "F1").
