Hi Matt,

Cleaning up my inbox and realised that I had failed ot keep you updated
on my attempts to tune up a DCOE properly. When I get home tonight I
will assemble the edited highlights to date and send them to you.

What has transpired is that, despite a tune up from a specialist garage,
I have to go back to first principles with my setup. Christmas has
somewhat thrown things, but I'm taking the carb off tonight to chamfer
the butterflies and fix a leak. Hopefully with those sorted I can get
back to getting the idle sorted out.

Rgds

Bill

Bruce, Greg, and Bill

Please include me in off-list discussions regarding DCOE tuning in the
future. I promise to be quiet and listen, 'cause I don't really have
too
much advise to offer except the "everybody knows" trick of air corrector
jet
vs. main jet ratio of 3:1 for tuning high rpm vs. low rpm mixture. I'd
just
be interested in getting info on these wonderful carbs, but you're
absolutely right - the name of the list includes EFI in the title, so
carburator related topics should be avoided I guess.
