Adding a gas tank return

Had a Jeep at the shop a few months ago with this type of setup.  Hit the gas
hard and fuel pressure dropped causing a hesitation when the truck started
moving.  The fuel was sloshing away from the pickup tube.  

Is it necessary?  Depends on your application.  But when I do a retrofit I
definitely consider fuel starvation prevention. ; )
