Yes for the few extra bucks, go for the 1000.
I have a couple other concerns. Sending 10 pins
with each connector would be good, though only
7 are used. They are only a dime, and are the
thing most likely to get lost or need reworking.
The other qustion is, should a special wire crimper
be used to attach wires to the pins, and what range
of wire size fits. These might not be trivial issues.
I was thinking of throwing 2 1/2 kilo bucks at it,
crimper and all. Then offer complete harnesses
(short, long, shielded or loose, your wire/connector,
etc) priced to break even at 100 assemblies.
Trouble is, I would be "making a profit" if there 110
takers, and I don't want to cause trouble.
