Run your heavy wires from battery to J3 & J4. Then run
lighter jumpers from J3 to J11, and J4 to J12.
Your high impedance (10 meg) meter wires may be
light gauge, but they should be routed DIRECTLY to
J12 & J9. If the meter ground wire is connected
somewhere else on the vehicle, any voltage drop in
the power wiring will introduce error voltages in the
meter reading.
A good check is from J12 to J9; this should read
2.5 volts (any time power is applied). If this is off,
all readings will be off a similar amount.
