Just a minor point, but your cat converter is not going to like the raw
fuel, better to cut the injectors but as far as reducing the torque output,
both are just as effective. You can also reduce torque smoothly by first
retarding a few degrees, then cut more and more injection pulses if
necessary. Also you have to damp the torque return to avoid to re-spin
immediately, and maybe scale the torque reduction gain as a function of the
current gear, engine rpm, throttle position and steering angle, last,
remember you actually _want_ some 12-15% slip to allow the tire to work its
best.
