Chill out Bruce.
I happen to think there is a very valid complaint by group members. Yes, Steve
has gone out of his way to put this deal together - but I too have 2 kits on
order - and have not even recieved confirmation that the order was recieved, or
even how much it is going to cost way up here in Canada. Our Looney has lost
about a quarter in value between my placing the order and today, meaning my cost
has gone up 25% while waiting for something I don't even know if I'll ever get.
What in heaven's name is wrong with placing a list of confirmed orders on this
list so we who have not recieved word yet at least know the kits WILL come some
day?
If the orders are not confirmed, Steve has no "contract" , and ordering direct
from any other supplier is not cutting anyone off at the knees.
Get a grip, and smell the coffee lad!!
On the whole this list is pretty congenial, until something upsets you and you
spill your vitriol all over the list.
Then we get a flare up of hard feelings and wasted bandwidth that makes RAH
(recreational aircraft homebuilt) look extremely civilized.- and anyone on this
list that also frequents that one knows that takes some doing!!
Come on fellows - play nice. The ball is NOT just yours Bruce.
