[Diy_efi] diff. bet regular and automotive standard wires?

Hi Toffer,

It really depends on the particular brand and grade of wire.  Most
automotive wire is SAE gauge not AWG gauge.  SAE is slightly smaller than
AWG and won't handle quite as much current.  Some automotive wire is plated
so it will corrode less than unplated wire.  There is NO difference in noise
suppression.  Some "regular" wire will handle more heat and some will handle
less.  Some "regular" wire is more robust some is less.  Personally, I like
a higher quality Marine wire.
