The UK based Robert Jankel company built a Le Mans entrant car around
1993. I am considering buying this car, is there any info around on it,
in particular what the original engine and box was? It now has a belt
driven supercharger on it, the type that LOOKS like a turbo, but is only
a gear driven compressor section. Otherwise the car seems relatively
unmolested. Anyone hazard a guess what it's worth? Any info on the web in
specialist Corvette sites?
I have posted here as there seems a wealth of US info, and more
specifically to this list I would like to know how well the small block
Chevy responds to the Vortech supercharger, and to ask whether the GM
ECU with exposed EPROM in this car is likely to be programmable? I know
nothing of this ECU, as I am in the UK, my experience is with stuff like
Motec and EFI Technology ECU's.
I supect his car would have been N/A originally, if i buy it I'd like to
put it into near original trim, maybe with an all ali small block on
injection and naturally aspirated.
Thank you.
