Yes, that would be me. Or maybe we could rephrase that to "TPUs are for lazy
people" :-)

Run individual VE maps for the cylinders, startup maps, wall wetting models,
signal processing on the knock sensor, adaptive control algorithms and
traction control while running at 16000rpm.
The fancy processor allows you to add all the fun parts later without the
need for a complete new ECU. Not that I have done this (yet) but I'm still
young :-)
