It's A Necessary Thing.  Fuel boils at room temp (low end aromatics).  So
you need to continually purge the system of them.   You also have to have
the fuel lines continually run up hill so trapped bubbles can easily purge
themselves out of the system.   While overlooked, fuel lines need to be just
full of fuel, and it's harder then it looks.
