I saw a russian liquid fuel rocket. The pipe in which the
 fuel (H2 and O2) was leaving the
 tank was thermally coupled (circulated around) 
to the burner chamber, so that it cooled it.
Maybe you can make a nice intercooler if you have a turbo ;-)
