[Diy_efi] W-B question

Don,

My DIY-WB won't light up that LED until the engine is running either. I
think this is pretty normal as the WB needs pretty good voltage to work.

Why yours starts to flicker and go dim later? My only suggestion is to put
a digital volt meter on your supply line and see if the voltage changes when
that flickering and dimming occurs. If the answer is yes then your car's
electrical system is varying it's voltage too much.

If the supply voltage stays steady when the problems arise then they guys
that designed-or-understand this WB controller circuit need to speak up with
a solution.

Good luck.

Subject: [Diy_efi] W-B question

I have my recently completed W-B unit installed in the car. My
question is about the LED. It will not come on just with battery voltage
until I start the car and then after about 20 seconds it comes on and is
bright for about 2-3 minutes, then it starts flashing for another 2-3
minutes and then it goes dim but stays on. Is this normal ? I have the
sensor in the X crossover just after the header collectors. Please tell me
this is normal. All the best.
Don.
