[Diy_efi] 2.0 diss module with the 1227749

I'm using spark timing to determine reference angle. When the dis module
is in bypass mode, it sparks when a notch (forget the #, that's what the
chart on the ftp site is for) is directly underneath the sensor. Call this
0 degrees. ; )

When the module is in est mode, the spark is advanced by 60 degrees. I
have a good light that allows the timing advance to be dialed in to view
this.
I have also confirmed that the notch that fires the module in bypass mode
is the same notch that is below the sensor when the crank is at TDC #1.

So it would appear that the reference angle is 60 degrees.

The module does not seem to have a problem with cps pulse timing being less
than oem. A perfect wheel would match the crank wheel dia, mebbe 5" or
so? The one I'm using is about 3" dia. But the ecm doesn't care, since it
measures the time between reference pulses to determine the rpm. I've seen
nothing on the scope that leads me to believe the setup I'm using is not
generating proper reference pulses.

Your second question is what the whole issue is about.
