[Diy_efi] DIY-WB checkout ?

Hi list.  I'm new to electronics.  Bruce Roe has been nursing me to this
point ( motorcycle without a rectified circuit ), but it now seems time to
move my questions to list.

On #14 ( U4 pin 14 ) I measure 1.05V so I then measure 2.89V on D8 pin 2.
I've verified R14 is good, but how do I verify this diode ( i.e. does it
have to be desoldered, can I do it with just the diode function of a DMM ) ?
