Certainly. Run hard pipe (seamless, hydraulic. Hydraulic fluid at
several MPa is seriously injurious to your health - run it outside
or within an outer shell) between firewall and the location of the
pump. Flexible lines between components that really move and the
body of the car. Steel lines work out lighter than hose for the same
pressure anyway.
