Volvo had the O2 sensor bunghole before the turbo. I have an '83 and '84
like that (screws into the backside of the manifold above turbo). Only
replaced one sensor in 3 years. Of course those motors (2.1L) had 7.5:1
pistons and Kjet and got 20mpg.
