There are a few fundamental confusions appearing in this discussion. Most
notably over how the correction table works in SD systems,

Remember PV=mRT. Tables are to correct for where the engine deviates from
this, either due to reversion, exhaust scavenging etc. Once you are above a
certain RPM point where you are on cam, throttle position should not affect
the linearity until you get to very small openings.

Secondly MAF based systems are not that good. They still need correction
tables. IMHO they are fine for low tune lazy engines, like perry's 'stang,
not for 130+HP/litre engines.

3rdly CV EFI is nothing new. SU were doing variants on this 20 years ago.
Its more about atomisation of the fuel than anything else.

As for 30% throttle being WOT, this is ROT. Alpha for WOT (or inlet at atmo)
is proportional to RPM for a correctly sized runner.
