No.  It was stated that having too litte pressure in
the crankcase WILL adversely affect ring life.

Well, most people who operate motor vehicles have
different priorities than you, apparently.

I've already covered that in previous replies.  For
your application, I suggest you build a half-dozen
test engines and test them all at various levels of
crankcase pressure until ring seal has dropped a set
percentage, and then record the number of revs to get
from a fresh motor to that point.  Then you will know,
for your application, what the bell curve looks like.

Which has nothing to do with how long the engine will
last, or how well the rings are sealing.

You seem intent on arguing in circles.  Believe what
you will, and do all the experiments you wish to
gather your own data.  You don't seem to want to make
any distinctions besides your own (or lack thereof).
