Scott,

I am using an AC Delco P/N AFS-105 (GM P/N 25312200); Which software are =
you
using to edit calibrations? I have looked at Autigent. pretty pricey. =
Wish
I could help with the O2 sensor config, but I have to get running first,
probably will get it fired up Friday or sat. =20

Tim,

=20

You mentioned you are working on a GM MEFI 4 fuel injection system. I =
have
this system on my car and have been working on it for a while. Do you =
know
how to run a wide band O2 on the MEFI 4 system? I see that the =
calibration
can be setup for wide band, but do not know exactly which sensor or how =
to
configure it.

I had a local machine shop mill one out of 1-1/4" Aluminum. I just took
them a riser gasket as a pattern. My risers (Indmar) have water =
passages on
all four sides. I just eliminated the water passage on the side where =
the
O2 sensor will mount. Boats tend to run richer than cars. Depending on =
your
calibration, you may never achieve closed loop parameters. The typical =
boat
thermostat opens at 140 degrees, much cooler than a car. Your boat ECM =
may
not play very well with your boat cam. Boat cams have a relatively =
narrow
lobe separation angles and about 10 degrees more exhaust duration than
intake duration, this means lower vacuum, which in a TBI speed density
system will make you run rich.

=20

I think a truck based calibration would get you close. For tuning you =
would
need a wide-band O2 sensor setup to customize your calibration, ts. The
stock GM 350 TBI setup is only good up to about 275 HP. If your make =
more
than that, you will need to run w/ the Big block 670 CFM throttle body.

=20

My experience is in Marine fuel injections based on GM MEFI controller. =
The
system I am building is a MEFI 4 based port injected system. As far as
tweeking the car ECMs there is an abundance of Cals, tuning software, =
and
guys that know what they are doing. This setup will work; is just the
calibrations available will not provide optimum horsepower.

=20

Good luck.

Can you put it in the exhaust cross over on the intake?

I'm going to put a TBI system of of a 305 chevy on my Volvo Penta 305. =
Any
advice or words of warning would be appreciated. Should I be able to get =
by
with the factory prom, Is there a built in rev limit, does anyone know =
of a
source for a spacer to install O2 sensor between manifold & riser? =
Thanx,
